Our Home We are honored that so many have expressed interest in our home. It’s a cozy, colonial style bungalow in the heart of Central Florida. It’s a real work in progress, but it has loads of charm. It’s our happy place and Ryan and I are firm believers that through hard work and a little imagination, we can make our dream home even dreamier. Beauty Before interior design, beauty was my first love. I love the way lipstick can completely change a look or the way highlighter can accentuate the cheekbones. But more than anything, I love the way makeup can make you feel confident and reflect the beauty within. About Ashley Brooke I am married to my best friend, Ryan, and we currently live in sunny Orlando, Florida. My journey to blogging came by an unconventional path. I began my career as an interior designer just ahead of the 2008 recession, which made employment in that field all but impossible. So I did what anyone would do and learned an an entirely new skill set, Photoshop retouch and design! It’s from that humble beginning that I started Ashley Brooke Designs and grew it into a gift product and stationery brand carried in over 600 stores across the USA ( read more about ABD products here ). If you’ve seen the Ashley Brooke Designs mugs ( here’s just a peek ), you know what it was all about. And while I no longer produce and sell products directly, they’re still among my favorite things in the world — as are the amazing customers and fans that supported me every step! In many so ways, this blog is dedicated to them. Today, Ashley Brooke Designs does the same thing it always has.
